“When we commenced performing ‘Home Enhancement,’ we had audiences viewing ‘Tool Time’ that hadn’t viewed the present at all,” Kern recalled. “Our romance kind of took place before we knew what it was. We took our cues from audience reactions to us, but we did not know there was just about anything actually remarkable about how we ended up participating in off each and every other.”
The actor added that he and Allen had been simply doing their career, but “the writers had been able to observe that and lean into it and publish for it.”
